The Operational Technology Center at Nederman is dedicated to advancing cross-product platforms that bridge the digital gap between traditional industrial equipment and modern digital technologies. Our focus lies in developing new ways of controlling our equipment to improve performance, reduce costs and reduce their environmental footprint. Data is systematically collected through our fleet of connected devices, aiding our ongoing development initiatives, and delivering valuable insights. Empowered by cutting-edge AI technologies, we seamlessly provide these insights to our customers through user-friendly web and mobile applications. With a substantial and growing client base, we are committed to a rapid expansion. To achieve this, we are seeking to add 11 more professionals to our existing team of 7. We are looking for highly skilled people in Automation, Back-End, Front-End. QA, Project Management, Security, etc.
The objective is to build highly integrated hardware and software to create products that only Nederman – The Clean Air Company could make.
What you will do
As our Software Security & Compliance Specialist and subject matter expert, you will play an important role in contributing to cutting-edge technology and innovation. Your primary responsibilities involve upholding the security and compliance posture throughout the organization's software development life cycle, fostering a resilient and secure operational environment.
Your oversight extends to the security and compliance facets of the software development life cycle, with a specific emphasis on our standard product, Insight Control. Ensuring alignment with industry best practices, you proactively keep standards current. Additionally, you maintain meticulous oversight of the documentation process for changes, implementations, and tests, creating a comprehensive record that reflects our commitment to excellence. Your key responsibilities include:
- Become the expert in our TUV-certified IEC62443-4 device and development lifecycle
- Manage and coordinate internal and 3rd party audits
- Manage and ensure compliance throughout the software development life cycle
- Address cloud security concerns and ensure the safety of connected client products
- Identify vulnerabilities and conduct risk assessments
- Foster a secure development environment for the software team and provide guidance on development loops, ensuring they are executed correctly
- Act as a process owner within the specified security domain
- Stay current with new or upcoming standards and regulations in all Nederman’s sales regions
- Contribute to the selection of tools and security solutions, actively participating in decision-making processes
We believe you have
We are seeking a highly experienced Software Security & Compliance Specialist with a solid track record of several years in effectively managing security and software development life cycle compliance. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in various facets of security, including a comprehensive understanding of standards such as IEC62443-4 (Insight Control), ISO27K, and industrial security standards. We will also value your industrial experience. For this role, you need to have strong communication skills in English, spoken and written.

A collaborative approach, positive attitude, and strong work ethic are essential. You must be organized and capable of successfully handling multiple requests and tasks.
