Job Summary:
The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for performing necessary inbound and outbound activities, inventory control, housekeeping, safety, and material handling in the LCI Warehouse.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of receiving including unloading trucks, packaging parts, process shipping/receiving paperwork, and data entry in ERP systems.
- Perform all aspects of inspection including detailed visual inspection of machined parts, review database and receiving paperwork for new equipment parts, take pictures of all motors and pumps, review drawings and take part measurements as needed
- Perform all aspects of shipping including preparation of shipping documents for domestic and international shipments, packing parts, loading trucks, and data entry. If shipping internationally, manually create Commercial Invoices and other shipping documentation and coordinate with freight forwarder for shipments and documentation until goods shipped/received
- Perform accurate inventory cycle counts, investigate, and reconcile errors.
Monthly cycle count to ensure it matches the inventory log in the ERP system
- Properly tag all parts, major components, repairs, and ship complete items with identifying information such as customer name, sales order number, BOM number, general description, quantity, date received, and person notified that parts are in the warehouse
- Scan all receiving paperwork including supplier packing list and technical documents and place them in the correct folder. Send hardcopies to buyer if required
- Monitor and execute reserved Shipment ID’s on time shipments
- Responsible for the inbound/outbound logistics, proper execution of materials packaging, staging, shipping coordination and invoices as needed.
- Maintain clean, orderly work area and give proper care to all tools and equipment
- Sent requests for warehouse and shipping supplies as needed
- Communication with Aftermarket Sales/Purchasing Department – both to resolve any receiving or delivery issues. Handling responsibilities throughout department.
- Comply with all company safety procedures and perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
Your Experience & Education
- Associate degree preferred
- 5-7 years of logistics experience
- Experience with international shipment and handling shipment documentation
- Forklift license preferred
Your Skills & Traits:
- MS Office
- Understanding and working knowledge of warehouse structure, receiving and shipping orders
- Working knowledge of computerized order entry, MRP/ERP inventory planning systems.
- Ability to execute assigned responsibilities with quick response in multi-tasking, time critical environment
- Knowledge in transportation/logistics/freight terms
- Ability to read drawings, take accurate measurements with calipers and other measuring instruments
- IFS ERP system experience preferred, not required
- Experience in international shipments, unloading documentation (commercial invoices, tariff, codes, etc.)
- Attention to detail
Physical Demands:
- Standing, sitting, bending, or squatting for extended periods of time
- Ability to move or lift items up to 50 lbs repeatedly
