Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Set direction and provide oversight, coaching, management, and leadership for the customer service team
- Handle the daily flow of all incoming company phone calls and management of the phone system
- Assure all orders and inquiries, from customers, field sales, or internal employees, are received and processed in the most timely, efficient and accurate manor
- Distribute leads appropriately to outside sales or technical support
- Manage orders from quotation and entry through shipping and final invoicing to the customer and keep customers informed of all updates/changes
- Ensure Order Confirmations, Invoicing, Time-to-Respond meets occur within specified service quality targets, when Manager is unavailable
- Coordinates logistics and delivery of products with customer request dates
- Work with operations regarding shipping and receiving activities and procedures, ensuring that products are handled damage free
- Communicate regularly to customers keeping them aware of changes and updates to orders
- Support warranty request and return material authorization as needed
- Other duties as they may be assigned to support the customer service and sales teams
Qualifications Your Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field desired
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience with an industrial manufacturer, and/or North American distribution company preferred
- Experience with CRM usage, order entry, and quotations required
Your Skills & Traits:
- Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including e-mail, Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong customer orientation
- Good interpersonal skills and decision making ability
- Ability to work in a face-paced collaborative environment
- Effective and professional communication
- Positive human relations orientation are essential
